*Pending Any State Changes for 2024* Covid-19 Policies & Procedures
SEAL Academy will be implementing several strict COVID 19 policies and procedures to keep campers and camp staff safe. Hopefully, we will reduce these restrictions in weeks coming, based on state licensing rule updates. An updated parent handbook on policies and procedures will include details, such as:
• Parents will not be allowed to enter the building for student drop off or pick up. Parents will drop-off campers from the double doors in the side parking lot and sign the children in at the door.
• Daily health screening will be done for each camper at the entrance door. This will include some simple health questions, temperature reading, and observation. We will also temperature check the parent signing in each child.
• Each camper will have all materials and supplies needed at their assigned personal space for the camp day. They will also be provided a cubby for their lunch and personal items.
• Bathrooms will be sanitized after each visit. We will be sanitizing all shared equipment between uses with CDC-recommended cleaning supplies.
• Lunch must be provided by the parents daily in a thermal lunch bag or container that maintains freshness.
• Each personal space and room will be sanitized each night.
• The common areas will be sanitized throughout the day based on student traffic.
• Campers will be brought out to parents via the double doors when they arrive for pick up and be signed out.
• Contacts camp Director for all camp payments however changes can be completed over the phone, via email, online on the parent portal or with envelopes available at the check-in station near.
Cancellations
Our traditional cancellation policy is in effect (please see Registration Terms). If summer camp must be postponed or closed due to COVID-19, we will provide a full refund for the future weeks missed, hold a credit toward future programs/weeks or give the option to convert payments to a tax-deductible donation toward camp.
In the case of accident or illness (that prevents child from participating in camp programs), sessions/weeks can be transferred to a later session upon director approval. Verification in writing from your child’s physician is required stating that the child cannot attend camp. Please contact our office immediately if your child is unable to attend camp for any reason.
The camp director reserves the right to decline the application of any child, or send home any child who, according to the Director’s discretion, puts themselves or others at risk. If a child is dismissed from camp, there will be no refund issued.
Deposits are totally non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason.
