Mini Med School (TM)
Open to grades 2-8

Let's learn how the human body works and the roles healthcare professionals play in medicine. During the seven week STEAM Saturday classes, you will use the scientific and engineering method to explore the world of health science and much more.

Science: Apply the scientific method, explore Mechanical, Structural and Civil engineering, patterns, and communication methods.
Technology: Analyze problems and design solutions to explore different operations, use logic, and develop reasoning.
Engineering: using the laws of physics, hydraulics, contraptions, simple circuits, and exploring engineering principles.
Arts: Colors, patterns, drawing, music, and also writing, timelines, storytelling, themes and creating presentations.
Math: Reason abstractly and explore the number line, fractions, probability, solving real world problems, geometry, angles, curves, diameter, distance, time, measuring and variables.

Muse & the Machine Animation Monday’s

Open to grades 3-9
Now your beginner artist can learn how animation art is created from CARTOONING and CHARACTER DESIGN to VISUAL STORYTELLING and 2D CHARACTER ANIMATION. This beginner class will set the foundation for more advanced and higher level animation styles and techniques. This is the class where young ones will learn how it’s done! Young, vivid imaginations can be expanded through drawing exercises that explore animation and character design in this class.

Our 10-week beginners course is designed to expose students to three different tracks:
Illustration: decoration, interpretation or visual explanation of a text, concept or process, designed for integration in print and digital published work.
Animation: a method by which still figures are manipulated to appear as moving images.
Cartooning: Cartooning is a picture intended as satire, caricature, or humor. Cartoons are often featured in print publications and online publications, like blogs and websites.
This presents students with potential college and career paths, confidence building, public speaking experience, and hands on professional training with an industry conscious artist.

We are excited to welcome children (in grades 2-8th) to the Princeton Makers & Innovators Spring STEAM Saturday's @ the Community Well in Lawrenceville, NJ. Our STEAM program includes activities and project based learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math.
During our five week session our participants will brainstorm, sketch, estimate, design, calculate and construct a small town. They will complete the project with a coded path for their robot to explore their newly constructed town.

Our tutoring and cultural enrichment program is designed to support each learner's strengths and opportunities. Mobile Minds of NJ 501c3 is committed to providing outstanding educational programs and enrichment activities through the combined efforts of students, parents, volunteers and community. Our goal is to provide each child with opportunities to expand their knowledge base by creating a caring, nurturing and stress free learning environment.
